What is My Folder for?

My Folder helps you manage local and iCloud files, read documents, play local media, transfer files over Wi-Fi, and review similar photos.

Where are my files stored?

Files are primarily stored on your device and in your own iCloud when iCloud sync is enabled.

Why can’t the app access files inside another app?

iOS isolates each app’s private storage. Use Files, Share Sheet, AirDrop, Finder/iTunes File Sharing, or Wi-Fi Transfer to import files.

How do I transfer files from a computer?

Connect the phone and computer to the same trusted Wi-Fi network, enable Wi-Fi Transfer in the app, then open the address shown in a desktop browser.
